When attorneys for the NFL and Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott convene Monday in New Orleans, there will be no settlement.
USA Today reported NFL lawyers “have not been engaged” in settlement talks with Elliott’s representatives ahead of Monday’s court date.
The NFL is appealing a decision by a U.S. District Court judge to deny the emergency stay of an injunction barring the league from imposing a six-game suspension.
New York owner John Mara said early in the week that he wasn’t happy with the display and had a one-on-one conversation with Beckham Wednesday.
